TMI with Sarah Grant

Surviving Bali with Adrian Acheson

Episode Notes

In this episode of "TMI", SG has a D&M with her #BFF Adrian 'Acho" Acheson (Bali Bomb Survivor, Aussie Country Boy and Divine Human)

Adrian takes us on a profound journey into his lived experience as a Survivor of the 2002 Bali Bombings. His story is one of courage, determination and pure resilience.

So please make yourself comfortable and remember that there aren't any seat belts where we're going, so hang on if you must!

Trigger Warning: as always with TMI, we tend to go off-road quickly and often. In this episode, we talk about Adrian's experience in great detail - including a complete account of his physical injuries and how he managed to get out alive. We also talk about the aftermath of such a massive trauma and the long journey to recovery.

So if any of this might cause stress for you, please use your best judgement and maybe skip this one. Remember, you are responsible for your well-being. So take what you need and leave what you don't.

The documentary mentioned in this episode is called "The Longest Season" and is available to watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCNjtPXj0YA

This episode is for all the Forbes Rugby Union players who survived Bali.

And dedicated to the three that didn't make it home but will never be forgotten.
